2022 Spring Road Ban will be lifted effective 12:01am Wednesday June 1, 2022.

Repairs on the ANC Road will start the week of May 30, 2022. Road will be down to single lane in these areas. Please watch for construction signs and slow down around workers and equipment.

Please be aware the ban will become 24 hours as of Thursday March 31, 2022.

• As a reminder: Permits are obtained by completing the form under “Road Use/Road Ban Permit”, at the bottom click on “Report Road Use”, once filled in submit the form. You will receive an email that has the Permit number in the subject line.

2022 Spring Ban 24hr

There will be a 12 hour road ban in place beginning this Wednesday March 16, 2022 at 10am to 10pm daily. Please see the attached notification for further details.

Spring bans are on the way…. please start preparing by getting permits in place for the locations that you will need to access during the ban. An update will be sent out and posted once ban hours & dates are finalized.

Warmer temps bring icy roads. Chains are highly recommended! Thank you.

The road has lots of drifting snow, so please use caution, ensure headlights are ON, call KM’s and slow down!

Big trucks are allowed to use chains, and travel at max. 50km/hr.

Please remember to SLOW DOWN passing graders.

Road is wet and shoulders are soft. Please watch for and slow down travelling past graders. Drive with caution and turn lights on during fog events.

Chains are allowed during wet conditions…speed limit with chains on is 50 km/hr.

Road Use Reminder

In order for ANC to schedule and provide the best road maintenance and safety possible, it is required that road use be reported via the ANC website.
As per ANC’s Rules of the Road:
ROAD USE NOTIFICATION: all rig & service rig moves, frac related moves, convoys of 4 or more and all other large/heavy moves are reported via the ANC website (48 hours prior to use when possible)

There will be road maintenance occurring at km3 on the Home Creek Road (DLO920405) starting June 14, 2021 to approx. June 16, 2021. Road will be down to one lane only. Please drive slowly and cautiously around workers. Obey all posted speed signs.
